Another busy year for BFD, as 2014 ended with a total of 382 alarms answered by The Young Mens Volunteer Fire Co. of Blairsville. Thank you to all of the members for your time, and service. Thank you to all the local Fire Departments, EMS, County 911 center and staff, local officials and police officers as well, for their assistance thru out the year. Stay safe everyone!

This past week, 14 of the BWRT members completed the PA Fish & Boat's Ice Rescue and Emergency Response (IRER) certification. This certification was the last of a 5-step certification process for many of the team's members.
